Usually AI fields employ specialized software or programming languages created for them. A chatbot is a machine conversation system which interacts with human users via natural conversational language. A chatter bot (or chatbot) is a type of conversational agent, a computer program designed to simulate an intelligent conversation with one or more human users via auditory or textual methods. In other words, a chatter bot is a computer program with artificial intelligence to talk to people through voices or typed words. Though many appear to be intelligently interpreting the human input prior to providing a response, most chatter bots simply scan for keywords within the input and pull a reply with the most matching keywords or the most similar wording pattern from a local database. Its considered to be serious branch in AI developing as the purpose from programming a chat bot is to help people getting info like help desk .
SpyBot is an extra intelignt chat bot which can talk about historical persons.
It has a huge database about this informations .So this spy bot can clear all historical doubts .Not only historical when it talk to a person ,it collects maxium infermations about them .Spy bot makes a summary report about the persons whom it chated. This summory report contains his personal details to his character details .It aims to simulate a real spy.Spybot chat in an interesting, entertaining and humorous manner. stores everything everyone has ever said, and finds the most appropriate thing to say using contextual pattern matching techniques. In speaking to you it uses just that learnt material, and borrows a little bit of your intelligence as it learns more. With no hard-coded rules, it relies entirely on the principles of feedback. This is very different to the majority of chat bots, which are rule-bound and finite.

SPEECH RECOGNITION

Speech recognition is the process by which a computer (or other type of machine) identifies spoken words. Basically, it means talking to your computer, AND having it correctly recognize what you are saying. The possible applications of speech technology include every single task related with the action of the human voice. In this sense, the application fields can vary from speech production, storage, transmission and recognition processes.
Speech recognition can be of two types based on the grammar that the recognition is based on. (Grammar is in other words the list of possible recognition outputs that can be generated.)
In a command and control scenario a developer provides a limited set of possible word combinations, and the speech recognition engine matches the words spoken by the user to the limited list. In command and control the accuracy of recognition is very high. It is always better for applications to implement command and control as the higher accuracy of recognition makes the application respond better.
In Dictation mode the recognition engine compares the input speech to the whole list of the dictionary words. For the dictation mode to have a high accuracy of recognition is it important that the user has prior trained the recognition engine by speaking in to it.

Remote Host Monitor

Remote Host monitoring is the most effective, powerful monitoring system can be used in the local area network. The Remote Host Monitoring System is application software, which help us to monitoring the clients remotely on LAN. It is a very advanced process that constitutes sharing of many valuable resources with respect to a particular system. The main advantage of this software is that an administrator can sit on server computer and can view the process details about the client computers connected to it. This system has an advanced performance monitoring system .This system is an advanced feature which shows graphical view of process and memory usage of each client systems When the CPU time available to a process is less than the process uses in ideal circumstances, its performance is affected. Performance monitoring system allows us to quickly tune up system and show its performance. In this system the server is provided with the privileges to monitor any of its client systems. That means from the server itself admin can control clients systems. The server has the option to view the desktop activities of all clients. The entire system works in a LAN and the working is made in such a way that there will be a client program and a server program. Here, the protocol that is used is TCP/IP which is a connection oriented protocol. The main advantage of this protocol is that it provides a feedback and at the same time it is highly secured.
< a href="http://www.laxmiinfotek.com">Laxmiinfotek

Remote Compiler

Remote Compiler benefits the use of computer network to the maximum level. It is a software that helps avoid the need to have various types of compilers in a system. The Remote Compiler helps us compile programs coded in any language irrespective of the compiler being available in our system. It also helps one to obtain the output from a program even when the environment needed to run the program is not available. This system of software avoids the need of multiple environments and platforms to exist in the same system

Remote Compiler is a network based software development program which integrates various types of compilers and programming environments under one roof. The Remote Compiler is a network based multi-user, multi-language supported program that help one to compile any programs coded in any language. The user can get the code compiled even if the compiler is not available in his system. Being multi-user the program is able to serve multiple number of users simultaneously. The program supports various languages such as Java, C, C++, etc. This enables one to compile programs coded in any language irrespective of the compiler being available in his system. Remote Compiler enables one to also execute program which require environment which may not be available in his system. The software provides options to download the executables and also obtain outputs of the program which require other working environments.

The programming world offers programmers with a large number of high level languages which have their own merits and demerits. The programmers have their own choice of languages and the working environments. For a normal programmer, it may be difficult for him to have all the requirements all setup for coding and execution. For the compilation of a code coded in some high-level language, the particular compiler supporting that language must present in the system.

For a program to execute successfully, the system should have all the environments necessary for the software to run. This means the user must have to install all the necessary requirements to run the program successfully. Meeting these requirements will prove costly. The Remote Compiler is a complete solution to these problems.

Vehicle Tracking System

The project "Voting Software" aims at making the voting process easy in cooperative
societies .Presently voting is performed using ballot paper and the counting is done manually ,hence it consumes a lot of time. Routers are devices that connect these networks. For example, a home network connected to the network of an Internet service provider. Routers that handle more number of networks or computers connected to them need to perform their switching functionality faster enough such that they themselves do not become bottlenecks in the communication they facilitate. A network search engine (also known as network search element or NSE for short) is a special-purpose device that helps a router do one of its core and repeated function of address lookup faster. Besides routing, address lookup is also done to perform functions such as keeping track of the services used for billing the user of the network, looking up patterns of information in the data being passed through the network
This product is a self-contained index-based network search engine that indexes all shared files in your local area network and provides users with the ability to locate necessary files within a few seconds. It makes the election process easy.

LAN Secret Messenger(LANSM)

This is like special type of LAN messenger which can be used for secret chatting .It has some additional features than ordinary LAN messengers .Ordinary LAN messengers helps messaging in a network .Messages may be voice or text ,But it does not ensure any privacy for messages .Here we are introducing highly secured LAN messenger.LANSM does not allow any intruder .In sender side LANSM converts typed messages in to encrypted format .This encrypted message will be sent to other side .Receiver side of the messenger has added decrypted algorithm to decrypt this message .But it is not going to display this readable message directly .Here we are having voice converter which converts text messages to voice messages .So user can secretly here the information’s using headphone .In this messenger chance of messages to be explored is not at all .It totally avoid all kind of ever teasers .

Image Steganography

This project Image Steganography handles hiding a secret message with in an image in such a way that others cannot discern the presence or contents of the hidden message. A message might be hidden with in an image by changing Least Significant Bit to be the message bits. Then the image can be transmitted through Network.
LSB based Steganography is perhaps the most simple and straight forward approach. In this project we embed the message in to the least significant bit planes of the image. Since this will only affect each pixel by +/- 1, if at all, it is generally assumed with good reason that degradation caused by this embedding process would perceptually transparent.
• LSB Technique.
• Transmission.
• Image Viewer.
Here using LSB technique, the information is hidden in the least significant bits of the image data. By means of server sockets, the image containing information transmitted to network. Image viewer used to view the normal and stegoimages. Quality measures gives the variation between original and stegoimage information.
In the receiver side the same software is to be installed. When the image file is opened the software tells the user whether that contains any hiding information or not. If the image contains hidden information then client sockets will receive it.

FIREWALL DEVELOPMENT

Firewall is a set of scripts (firewall, fwup and fwdown) that implement an ip chains firewall and various forms of network address and port translation. All you have to do is read the policy file and edit it to reflect your topology and filtering policy. The policy file is composed of sections in which you need to specify: this host's trusted and untrusted network interfaces; this host's role and function within the network topology; the incoming and outgoing services to allow and the internal and external hosts that may take part in them. It has been designed to make this as painless and flexible as possible. Each section contains detailed explanations and advice on things such as when to start the firewall and the security implications of various well known internet services and advice on how to allow them safely. It is intended to introduce administrators to some subtleties of packet filtering quickly so that they can make better informed security decisions and achieve and maintain effective network security (at least the packet filtering part) in a very short time

File Splitter

File Splitter is a software which is used to split the user specifying file according to the user specifying size. It is very difficult to transfer one big file from one end to another through any media like internet or small storage like Floppy, Pen drive etc. This software helps to overcome this problem. The splitted portions of file may carry some temporary information to denote the the number of splitted part and total number of parts etc. This idea is used to split big files to small pieces for transferring purpose, uploading etc. In the destination side, these parts of file can be jointed to form the original source file.
Splitting process is mainly aiming in the area of file transferring from one end to another.
There are three techniques to split the file.
1.Split in the size of 1.4MB (Floppy size)
2.Split in the size of 650MB(CD size)
3.User specifying size, Here file will be splitted equally in the specified size.

To ensure the security, the user can include password to split and combine the files. In a shared network performance of all systems are not same. At this point of view this is more reliable and feasible. This is a tool use to share files in an entire network through a compression tool.
Data compression is achieved by reducing redundancy, but this also makes the data less
reliable, more prone to errors. Compression is useful because it helps reduce the consumption of expensive resources, such as hard disk space or transmission bandwidth.

For visual and audio data, some loss of quality can be tolerated without losing the essential nature of the data. By taking advantage of the limitations of the human sensory system, a great deal of space can be saved while producing an output which is nearly indistinguishable from the original. These lossy data compression methods typically offer a three-way tradeoff between compression speed, compressed data size and quality loss.
Data compression help to avoid the security issues.

RFID Used Time and Attendance System(RUTAS)

Tracking employee time and attendance is fast and simple with this system. Each employee is provided with a unique RFID badge. To clock in or out, the employee passes the RFID badge near the time clock, and the RFID reader records to PC the time of entry or exit. This system dramatically reduces the number of hours required to process employee time and attendance. This system allows
• Track employee time, including arrival and departure time, lunch, breaks, overtime, holidays and absences
• Establish rules governing how employee time is accounted for (rounding, early clock in or out, overtime)
• Reduce inconsistencies and errors associated with manual time tracking
o Increase timecard accuracy
• Automatically summarize employee time sheets and hours for payroll or tracking reports
This system can be used for a wide range of industries where hourly and salaried employee time is tracked, including: manufacturing, warehouse & distribution, healthcare, retail, professional and medical offices, government and educational agencies.
Software Requirements
Front End :Java,,J2EE, Struts2
Database: Mysql 5.1
Others: Java Script, CSS, Ajax
Hardware Requirements
Intel P3 and above
Min. 128MB RAM
20GB HDD

GBOT

One pertinent field of AI research is natural language. A chat bot is a machine conversation system which interacts with human users via natural conversational language. Its considered to be serious branch in AI developing as the purpose from programming a chat bot is to help people getting info like help desk

GBot is a chat bot application that can be used in the place like training sections of software firms .In such environments LAN messaging applications are used to collaborate on group projects and it let each members to ask there doubts regarding that project to technical leaders. There may be one more technical leaders .But if the technical leaders are busy with any other things, they need a solution that will enable them to collaborate. Other problem is when team leader is out of station or out of work, somebody else has to be able to replay for there doubt. GBot is a chatter bot application that can solve this problem. Basically GBot is not only a chat bot ,human supported chatter bot . GBot is working as intermediate system between all members. GBot is an artificial intelligence chat bot which is having knowledge data base related to the particular training area, It aims to simulate human support chat in an interesting, entertaining and humorous manner. Project Members can ask there doubts to GBot . There doubts will be cleared with the help of its database .If it is not able to satisfy the question it will redirect that question to any of the available team leader .Questioner is not going to know whether it’s a human being or Chabot .Chat bot database is getting updated .It learns. In some ways it models the way humans learn language, facts, context and rules. GBot stores everything everyone has ever said, and finds the most appropriate thing to say using contextual pattern matching techniques. In speaking to team leader it uses just that learn material, and borrows a little bit of there intelligence as it learns more.

laxmiinfotek

Audio Steganography

The project entitled Audio Steganography is the application developed to embed an audio file in another audio signal. It is concerned with embedding information in an innocuous cover Speech in a secure and robust manner. This system makes the Files more secure by using the concepts Steganography and Cryptography’s
Steganography, poor cousin of Cryptography is the art of hiding messages inside other messages such that the very existence of the message is unknown to third party. The goal of cryptography is to make data unreadable by a third party, the goal of steganography is to hide the data from a third party Through the use of advanced computer software, authors of images and software can place a hidden trademark in their product, allowing them to keep a check on piracy. This is commonly known as watermarking. Hiding serial numbers or a set of characters that distinguishes an object from a similar object is known as finger printing. Together, these two are intended to fight piracy. The latter is used to detect copyright violators and the former is used to prosecute them. But these are only examples of the much wider field of steganography
The cover data should not be significantly degraded by the embedded data, and the embedded data should be as imperceptible as possible. Usually weak AI fields employ specialized software or programming languages created for them.
(GuideBot) GBot is a chat bot that can talk about places of kerala.GBot is an artificial intelligence - kerala guide chat robot,It aims to simulate natural tourist guide chat in an interesting, entertaining and humorous manner. . It learns. In some ways it models the way humans learn language, facts, context and rules. GBot stores everything everyone has ever said, and finds the most appropriate thing to say using contextual pattern matching techniques. In speaking to you it uses just that learn material, and borrows a little bit of your intelligence as it learns more. With no hard-coded rules, it relies entirely on the principles of feedback. This is very different to the majority of chat bots, which are rule-bound and finite. If you speak in a foreign language it will learn it, and respond appropriately if it has enough to go on . This project has lot of application in the field of tourist industry.
www.laxmiinfotek.com

FRC (Factory Remote Controller)

It is very tedious task to manage all machines in a machine in a factory ,or which a place which contain one more machines .Such situation we should need a person who can handle this devices. Sometimes there might be some complex procedures like order of the machine you need to be kept when you are switch off or switch on those machines .For inexperienced person this should be a complex task Even if he is experienced one ,human beings has its own limitations .Above all ,In such cases absence of one technical person should be big problem . Technology always make human job easy .At a limit this problem can solve using personal computer .But still we need a dedicated person to do that. Absence of one person is a problem here .Any you are not going to switch off your computer when u are in your car .We should need a hand held device to do that .Here we are presenting advanced application which can use as the remote control of your factory .You can control the all machines using your mobile phone. It does not violate the order of the machines .It should keep the settings to be kept when you operates on the machines .FRC is a application which runs in your mobile .Actually this application has three parts ,A application software to be run at user's mobile ,and web server accepting requests from user mobile ,and hardware circuits which are obeying the order of the web server .In this system every user has its own account and access limits .And this software automatically reminds section manger to do their duties and allow them to do that from wherever they are .This is not only a Machine controller ,This application also has the way to control human assets. It provides various kind of messaging mechanisms too. It is a peer to peer system which keeps constantly updating file system changes on each system over the network to all active peers. Rich JFC components provide an interface, which reflects a excellent look and feel on every operating systems. The system eliminates the need for SMB servers to interface between different operating systems. The Remote Host Monitoring System is application software, which help us to monitoring the clients remotely on LAN. It is a very advanced process that constitutes sharing of many valuable resources with respect to a particular system. The main advantage of this software is that an administrator can sit on server computer and can view the details about the client computers connected to it. In this system the server is provided with the privileges to monitor any of its client systems. The server has the option to view the desktop of a particular user who has currently logged in a system. The entire system works in a LAN and the working is made in such a way that there will be a client program and a server program. The Screen shots of the system whose desktop is to sent will be captured consecutive and will be sent to the server at regular intervals of time. The Screen shots sent through the sockets and this project will work entirely on client-server architecture. Here, the protocol that is used is TCP/IP which is a connection oriented protocol. The main advantage of this protocol is that it provides a feedback and at the same time it is highly secured.
www.laxmiinfotek.com

Programmable Robot

This is a programmable robot which can be programmed to do a particular task. It is developed using J2EE and SQL, server. Bidding is the process of buying and selling the products through bargaining. There are two types of bidding. They are low cost bidding and high cost bidding. In low cost bidding, seller fixing an amount for a product. The buyer is proposing. So after the bargaining. the seller will be disposing of the product for a feasible amount.
In this case, a minimum profit is guaranteed for the seller. High cost bidding intended for upper class people. In high cost bidding. Auctioneer fixes certain amount for the product. Those who want to purchase will be offering high amount.. The highest bidder will be get the product. Auctioneer can fix the bid rate. (eg:Suppose the auctioneer can decide at least Rs.l000 more than the amount fixed for the auction of Rs.1,00,000).in high cost bidding very rare commodities are also placed for bidding. Through Internet high cost bidding has so many advantages. So we can buy so many rare products through Internet.
In this online software bidding tool is designed to use as more friendliness in three way user guided manual system.
a).Admin
b).Auctioneer
c).Bidder
Admin is a full privilege authorized user, who can keep track over all activities of seller and buyer, including all over site administration of online bidding. Auction is the process of selling the software online through the process of bidding. The Auctioneer can add software details to sell the software and the Bidder can view the software details and bid an amount to it. [n case of any need, the Users can send mails to the administrator or between themselves. An option is provided to send feedback to the administrator. A registration is required for all users. All Auctioneers and Buyers have to pay a certain amount as registration fees. For registration username and passwords are to be given.
After the registration the seller is adding the details. So as the features of the software, pictorial representation, warranty, and minimum amount which is the Auctioneer expects etc.
A buyer can bid the amount of the software product that he intends to buy. Before closing hid date, the bidders can bid their own amount. The highest bidder can bought the product. If one person happen to register, the product will be bought for the amount he has paged. The auctioneer has all the responsibilities in sending the products to bidder through courier service. The Auctioneer through the credit card system will receive the money.
www.laxmiinfotek.com

Remote Status Updating System[www.laxmiinfotek.com]

Remote status updating system (ReStUS) is a system by which user can send data to the server placed away. User can check the status of the system data base using the GSM technology. The data base will update frequently by receiving the data from the user. The server will automatically send the current status and the data required for the user by checking the data base. In short Remote status updating system means updating the status from a distant place.
The data send by the subscriber is in the form of SMS (Short message service). The SMS must be in a specific format (QN S, where N is the number of seats required and S denotes the show number) as prescribed by the designer. User can send request and receive the acknowledgement. If the user violated the specific format then the server automatically detects that error and it will send an error report to the user. For the correct request the system compares the data send by the subscriber and the data base which is loaded by the provider or automatically stored by the data send by previous users. After comparing data with data base server send data in a specific format in the form of SMS. For this ReStUS uses the GSM technology.
Through mobile phones we can access the server from any part of the world. GSM seldom uses a direct wired network so the system is mobile. Also the system is faster and it can send the reply or acknowledgement suddenly after the request. Also we can access server from any mobile hand set which have the facility for SMS.

ReStUS have several applications like railway or movie ticket reservation by SMS, examination result check by SMS, appointment fixing to hospital etc. For all these the server sends a key word to the user for identity. Or it will accept the key word at first in some application. So it allows privacy to users
www.laxmiinfotek.com

Device Controlling Using TAPI[www.laxmiinfotek.com]

In the modern digital age which belongs to the fast and competitive ones time became one of the expensive things to spend with. Everyone tries to minimize the amount of time they spend for every deal. So technologies are emerging to satisfy this desire of people. This project aims at the point of developing an electronic system which helps people to control any process or devices from a remote location using a PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). So it has the name Device Controlling System.
The project is divided into two functional modules .The system consists of a hardware unit (consisting of a microcontroller based relay operating system and a Intel microprocessor based system Working on Microsoft windows operating system) plus a software unit which consists of linux GUI program which act as an interface between user and the system and also act as an interface between hardware unit and users phone.
Introduction
The project aims in developing an microcontroller based electronic relay operating system and a Linux GUI application which act as an interface between user and system and also act as an interface between telephone system and microcontroller.
The system can be considered as a combination of hardware and software units. The microcontroller based electronic relay operating system plus the personal computer is the hardware unit. Linux GUI application which uses the JAVA TAPI functions is the software part. The users commands from the phone is handled by this TAPI functions and the program communicates with microcontroller through a serial port to alter the device status according to users desire. The application also keeps a record of the status of devices in a database and it is updated after each operation.
You can look at the GUI application as a software layer that lies between the microcontroller and telephone system. It provides user an interface to add or remove new devices to the system.
In short the system has following features:-
a).New devices can be connected to the pins provided by the MICROCONTROLLER for ....Controlling.
b).The devices can be enabled to be controlled by adding them in the device list in ....GUI application or the devices can also be disabled by removing them from the list.
c).The users who are trying to access the system will be checked for authenticity by ....the application.
Functionalities
As we said earlier the project is divided into two functional modules they are :-
1).PIT MICRONTROLLER based electronic relay operating system
2).JAVATAPI(telephony application program interface) based telephone management system.
www.laxmiinfotek.com

Data Centralization over Networks[www.laxmiinfotek.com]

DATA CENTRALIZATION OVER NETWORKS (data-CON) aims the centralization of data in different platforms. The data, which are based in different platforms, can be centralized in an unique server. The main peculiarity of the Data-CON is that the clients can use different platforms and databases. Data-CON can be used to synchronize data in different databases such as SQL. ORACLE, MYSQL, etc. It can be used as a back up tool. Data-CON aims to develop client and server tools to centralize over various networks.
Data-CONS can be used to centralize dates in both Internet and intranet, and it can be used to synchronize data between different network points. Data-CON supports the communication between the clients in different platforms. It is also having some chat application. It allows both online and off-line communication.
Data-CON can be used as a backup tool for taking file backup from network, Internet and local machine. Exiles, which are created in monitored folders, are copied over the network to the central folder, which can be used as backup .folder or central storage.

The various modules included in "Data-Con" is
1. It allows all the registered users to establish good relations with all types of people involved in the internet. The users can develop their communication skills. It also helps in gathering information's about different peoples. It also helps in understanding the culture of different peoples involved in the Internet
The other attraction of our site is that you could easily change the look and appearance of the site according to the users taste. This package is not restricted to any one any one who has registered as a valid user could access this package and it is absolutely free. Even though the site is very much secured after fulfilling the security criteria one would find it very interesting and easy. The entire package is developed by JDK 1.6, JAVA SWINGS, SOCKETS and Mysql for Database users The whole package works in any platform using client server technology.
Overview of Projects
The project titled "CHAT SERVER" deals with mail communication with peoples involved in the internet searching the site and chatting. The main aim of the project has been to develop web enabled model software to computerize the life style of peoples. our site named "CHAT SERVER" generates environment for communication.
Usually it is a long boring task of waiting in front of the computer searching for users who have entered the server.
Our program Eliminates this It is also seen that certain systems get disconnected from the internet so often, this is also deleted from our site. Moreover we had developed the site keeping in mind of this package getting used by users of any level. It could be a Computer engineer or a small boy or even one who has freshly learned Internet. By this site it is possible fro the users to communicate with other side of the world. user can make appointment with some professionals, persons and so on. Through the searching option we can search for different matters.
www.laxmiinfotek.com

CCU Simulator[www.laxmiinfotek.com]

The Command Control Unit is a two way port allowing data flowing into it as commands in one direction while its result in the backward direction.
In actual case the data (command) flows into this Command Control Unit from a Personal computer (User) according to the requirements. These commands flow into the measuring end in one way and as a result the measured result is put back as the output of the Command Control Unit. The Command Control Unit pushes this output back to the Personal Computer (User).
But actually in the case of Chandrayaan-1 the user going along with the flight for inputting the commands is impracticable. So here we use a programmed Personal Computer (Stand Alone Controller) which acts itself as a Personal Computer giving the required instructions at times of needs. And also retrieve and handle the results appropriately. So the Stand Alone Controller forms the controlling factor of the Mass Spectrometer which we send in the flight along with the Mass Spectrometer.
The Stand Alone Controller which we program before being sent along with the flight contains the required instructions (commands) for controlling the Mass Spectrometer. So here we are developing a Command Control Unit Simulator which simulates the working of a Command Control Unit with which we could check the proper working of a Stand Alone Controller.

Description
The CCU simulator is a system which simulates the functions of Command Control Unit (CCU) of a mass spectrometer used for scientific experiments. CCU controls the functions of the mass spectrometer and then acquires the data of a mass scan and transmits them through the serial port. The CCU simulator is used to simulate three major functions of the CCU. This is required to test a Stand alone controller (SAC) which is a self programmed device sent to space. A Personal Computer used here is actually replaced by this SAC Unit. So CCU simulator is used in place of CCU to connect with SAC to test it.

The commands which we execute through this project work are
1. RESET followed by a booting process starting with E4
2. START SWEEP.
3. GET SWEEP DATA.
www.laxmiinfotek.com

Bluetooth Hotspot[www.laxmiinfotek.com]

Bluetooth is an industrial specification for wireless personal area networks (PANs), also known as IEEE 802.15.1. Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices like personal digital assistants (PDAs), mobile phones, laptops, PCs, printers, digital cameras and video game consoles via a secure, globally unlicensed short-range radio frequency. Bluetooth is a radio standard and communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power class dependent: 1 meter, 10 meters, 100 meters) based around low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.
Wifi hotspots are very common now days. Laptops and PDAs use these hotspots to access the internet as these devices have Wifi facility built into it. But mobile phones do not have Wifi facility in them. Nokia is releasing some models with Wifi, but still those models are costly. But lower end models also come with Bluetooth now. So its a better idea to create a Bluetooth hotspot where Bluetooth mobiles can access the internet.
With this technology mobile phones need not have a GPRS connection or even a SIM card in it to access the internet. This project has two parts. A client application and a server application. The server application runs in a normal PC with Bluetooth dongle. This PC acts as the gateway to the internet for the mobile. The mobile will host the client application which will connect to the server application in a hotspot environment and provide the mobile with internet access.

The Bluetooth wireless technology serves as a replacement of the interconnecting cables between a variety of personal devices, including mobile phones. Its aim is to function as the universal low cost, user friendly, air interface that will replace the excess of proprietary cables that people needed to carry and use to connect their personal devices. It has become the technology of choice in cordless headsets for mobile phones, and is frequently used by mobile phone users to exchange files such as ring tones and images. It was found to be the most suitable wireless technology for this project, as it over the benefits of omni-directionality and the elimination of the line of sight requirement of RF-based connectivity.

Bluetooth creates a "personal connectivity space" which resembles a communications bubble that follows people around and empowers them to connect their personal devices with other devices that enter the bubble. Connectivity in this bubble is spontaneous and can involve several devices of diverse computing capabilities including reduced power devices such as mobile phones, unlike wireless LAN solutions that are designed for communication between devices of succinct computing power and battery capabilities.
Bluetooth is the term used to describe the protocol of a short range (10 meter) frequency-hopping radio link between devices. These devices are then termed Bluetooth - enabled. Documentation on Bluetooth is split into two sections, the Bluetooth Specification and Bluetooth Profiles.
• The Specification describes how the technology works (i.e. the Bluetooth protocol architecture),
• The Profiles describe how the technology is used (i.e. how different parts of the specification can be used to fulfill a desired function for a Bluetooth device)
www.laxmiinfotek.com

MyCampus[www.laxmiinfotek.com]

Social network sites are ubiquitous and today’s youth are spending a great deal of time using these sites to access public life. Once logged into one of these systems, participants are asked to create a profile to represent them digitally. Using text, images, video, audio, links, quizzes, and surveys, teens generate a profile that expresses how they see themselves. These profiles are combining together into a large web through 'Friends' lists. Participants can mark other users as 'Friends'. If that other person agrees with the relationship assertion, a photo of each is displayed on the profile of the other. Through careful selection, participants develop a 'Friends' list.
‘MyCampus’ is a community site for our campus. By using this and it features we can easily connect our friends in different part of the Continents. Profiles, Friends lists, and comments are the three features of this site.
